Patna: In a challenging theft, a group on Sunday morning at a gunpoint plundered travelers of money and assets and ambushed some of them on board the prestigious New Delhi-Patna Rajdhani Express in Bihar’s Buxar area.
No less than seven Government Railway Police (GRP) official – a sub-reviewer and six constables – were suspended and a FIR was enlisted at the Patna railroad station after the furious travelers challenged here, according to IANS.
“The criminals got into the Patna-bound Rajdhani Express (prepare number 12310) and lifted the baggage of a few travelers in four mentors before deboarding at Gamhar external in Uttar Pradesh when the prepare ceased there between 03:29 am to 03:53 am because of red flag,” the East Central Railway (ECR’s) Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Arvind Kumar Rajak said.
Railroad Minister Suresh Prabhu has guided the security directorate to guarantee early capture of the guilty parties, a senior railroad service official said in New Delhi.
The burglary occurred in three AC mentors – A4, B7 and B8, the authority said.
A case has been enlisted on the premise of the grievance and examination is in progress.
Following up on the grievance, the Railways has suspended one ASI (Railway Protection Force) and six (Railway Protection Special Force) constables who were escorting the prepare, the ECR CPRO said.
